I'm Marissa

I am a dancer, athlete, and advanced mover who has truly ran the gamut of overtraining, under-recovering, and burning herself out.

Through my years of coaching experience & education (which you can read about under “qualifications” below), and my own personal journey, I have found that those of us who love moving and training also struggle to maintain balance and see the value in training sustainably. You deserve better than to have to figure it out by yourself.

I created FTLOM to help others train in a sustainable way that actually feels good because… well, we don’t gate-keep around here. 

Qualifications

  • Certified Personal Trainer and Human Movement Specialist, Brookbush Institute
  • Certified L1 Nutrition Coach, Precision Nutrition
  • BFA, Dance Performance
  • Certified Sleep, Stress, & Recovery Coach, Precision Nutrition
  • 7 years of training experience, trained hundreds of clients online and in person
  • 15+ years of serious dance training & performing. Toured nationally & internationally with pro contemporary dance companies
  • L2  Master Health Coach, Precision Nutrition
  • Pre-Post Natal Coach, Girls Gone Strong

What's Included...

Group Coaching Calls & Workshops

Every week we will meet for a live call-- either a workshop or open coaching call. Each week will have its own topic, including- a deep dive into the "why" behind our goals, how to deal with fatigue & overtraining, how to rest without guilt, and how to set a realistic 6 month training goal. You will have an opportunity to get individualized coaching.

Movement Menu

Around here, we are all about picking movement that is in alignment with your needs, goals, & lifestyle. That's why you will have a movement menu of options via the Trainerize platform for your training, including strength training (home and gym options), mobility, active recovery, and more.

FTLOM Community

It has been my literal DREAM to create a space for like-minded people to share, and THIS IS IT. Between group calls and access to the Trainerize group chat, you will have the support of others (& yours truly) to share wins, ask questions, exchange ideas, and feel HEARD and SEEN.

Weekly Modules & Resources

Along with the group coaching calls, you will receive additional resources and weekly prompts to support calls and reflect on your own growth.

Movement Expert Interviews

We will be BLESSED with exclusive interviews with movement experts who will share their personal journeys and drop major knowledge truths on what moving for joy and training sustainably can look like.

While this is not individualized programming or coaching, you will get access to 1:1 support in our group coaching calls and via messaging with me.
